My Building

Policies and Procedures

  1. The Management Office MUST be notified at least 48 business hours prior to move-in.
  2. Freight elevators are available for move-in before 8:00AM and after 6:00PM Monday through Friday. Please check with the Management Office for weekend hours.
  3. Tenants are responsible for removing any debris, which should be removed before regular business hours (8:00AM to 6:00PM, Monday through Friday).
  4. The loading dock is the building entrance permitted for moves.
  5. The freight elevator is the elevator permitted for all furniture and equipment moves.
  6. A layer of material, such as plywood, MUST protect all common corridor and lobby floors.
  7. All door jambs must be protected by a material such as cardboard or cotton padding.
  8. The entrance doors (building and suite) must be protected by furniture pads or cotton padding.
  9. All walls and corners must be protected by a material such as plywood or cardboard.
  10. Please note that any damage to the building caused by the tenants’ moving company will be the responsibility of the tenant. Please report damage(s) to the Management Office so that necessary repairs can be made. Costs associated with such repairs will be billed back accordingly.
  11. It is most beneficial for all parties that a pre-move walk through of the suite is conducted to observe existing conditions. We recommend scheduling this walk through at least 48 hours in advance of any move-in activities. The tenant, a member of the property management team, and a representative from the moving company should attend the walk through.
  12. Our building has a strict "No Smoking" policy. Moving crew members are not permitted to smoke in any area of the building.
  13. The Fire Marshall prohibits the blocking of any fire corridor, exit door, elevator, lobby, or hallway. Do not park vehicles in marked fire lanes.

Protection for all Freight Elevators

  1. Corner boards must be secured on elevator door jambs.
  2. The cab must be padded (pads supplied by building).
  3. Walk-off mats must be provided to protect door thresholds.
